Once you have become familiar with using your Pen Tablet and want to explore your options in customizing it to meet your needs and workflow, the below instruction will walk you through the different areas you can use to customize your Pen Tablet and Pens.

The land of customization starts with the Settings panel. To access the Settings panel, press the Tablet Control button top Center.

If you have a Pen Tablet, the image to the right is what you will see when you open the Setting panel.

[1] The Setting panel will open to the Home page,

{2] the Device window shows what connected Xencelabs devices the Setting panel sees (as connected).

*You will also see the Pen Tablet's battery life percentage.

** The dark column on the left is how you will select and navigate to the different devices.

If you have the Pen Tablet Bundle or the Special Edition Bundle, this is what you will see when you open the Settings panel.

[3] The Settings panel will open to the Home page.

[4] You will see your Quick Keys in the Device window. If you do not, it means that it is not connected.

*You will also see the Pen Tablet and Quick Keys battery life percentage.

** The dark column on the left is how you will select and navigate to the different devices.

Now that we have the Settings panel open, let's dive into the different elements of the Settings panel. We will start at the top and work our way down the navigation list.

[1] Selecting the Pen Tablet from the left navigation column will bring you to the screen you see to the right.

[2] This is the Application row, where you will add an application, and then you can make custom settings that will affect only that application. We'll dive deeper into that in a minute.

[3] Battery life indacator.

[4] Corner Light - also called active area lights. These can be set to change with the application you are using.

[5] These are the Tablet Control buttons. By default, they are set from left to right for, Launch Settings, Adjust Pressure, and Switch Display.

They can be changed to meet your needs better.

[6] Windows Inkcheck box. By default, it is checked. If you are using an application that is using Wintab, you will first need to add the application to the Application row and then uncheck the Windows Ink box.

[7] Reset Tablet. If you have made changes and or the Pen Tablet is not working correctly, you may want to reset it back to installation defaults.

[8] This is the Xencelabs driver you have installed. If there is a new update, the phrase "Driver Update Available" will be displayed in red above this.

[9] The Gear menu is for Global changes. We'll take a look at the features and controls there next.

[10] The Gear is for Global settings changes.

[11] Starting at the top of the list;

Remove Selected Applications - If you want to remove an application that you added to the Application row, you will click on it and then select Remove Selected Application. It is grayed out because no application is selected.
